Who I work with

I offer counselling for adults and young people from school year 7 upwards. I work with a range of emotional and wellbeing needs, including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, bereavement and neurodivergence. Sessions are shaped around your individual needs and circumstances.

I am based in Hertfordshire and primarily work online with clients across St Albans, Harpenden, and the wider Hertfordshire areas. The beauty of being online though means that I can work with anyone in the UK. Many of my sessions with young people take place during the school day, where a confidential space is available.

Session length

Sessions last 50 minutes.

Availability

Appointments take place on Fridays and are online. A regular weekly appointment time will be agreed.

Fees

The fee is £70 per session.

Payment and Attendance

Payment is required at least 48 hours in advance by bank transfer.
If a session is cancelled or missed, the full fee is still payable and cannot be transferred to a future appointment, as the time is held exclusively for you.
Weekly attendance helps maintain consistency and supports ongoing therapeutic progress.

Planned Breaks

My counselling work runs throughout most term times, and I am also available during half‑term holidays and the Easter break. I take longer planned breaks of approximately six weeks during the summer holidays and approximately two weeks over Christmas and New Year, when sessions are paused.

Where possible, dates of planned breaks are shared in advance, and time is given to think carefully about how any gaps in sessions are managed.

Confidentiality

Counselling is confidential except where there is a safeguarding concern or a legal requirement to share information. This will be explained clearly in your first session.
